Лидер “Сибири” Владимир Тарасенко продолжит карьеру в СКА. Взамен питерский клуб отправил в новосибирскую команду форварда Вячеслава Солодухина, сообщает официальный сайт СКА.
В армейском клубе Тарасенко будет играть под 91-м номером. Впервые за новую команду молодой форвард сыграет в воскресенье, 15 января, в матче против “Барыса”. В этом сезоне Владимир Тарасенко входит в число лучших бомбардиров чемпионата КХЛ, в 39 матчах на его счету 38 (18+20) очков.
Russia hopes Olympics will improve British ties
LONDON (AP) — The London Olympics can help Russia improve diplomatic relations with Britain following several disputes, a Russian Olympic Committee leader said Thursday.
Relations between the two countries soured after the 2006 death of dissident ex-Russian security agent Alexander Litvinenko in London, with Russia refusing repeated British requests for the extradition of the chief suspect.
Litvinenko made a deathbed statement accusing Russian leader Vladimir Putin of authorizing his killing.
